Since 2016 we have helped organisations secure their Microsoft environment, with identity as the starting point. Not because it is a trend, but because almost every attack starts with a valid account: get access right and you remove the biggest risk. That is why we put Zero Trust into practice and take the password away. Passwordless and phishing-resistant authentication is where we make the difference, from administrators to shared workstations in healthcare and manufacturing, including where others say it cannot be done.
We treat security and compliance as one: what is properly secured should also be demonstrable, to an auditor, a customer or a regulator. And we do the work ourselves: from design to monitoring, you talk to the people who actually do it. We want to be the partner you call before you decide, not only when something goes wrong: a trusted advisor who knows your environment, tells you honestly what is needed and what is not, and thinks in years, not in the next project.
Why 443
443 is the port for encrypted traffic on the internet: the padlock in your browser. Almost everything that needs to be trusted runs over it. Route stands for the way there. Together they say what we stand for: every connection, from anywhere, secure. Not because the network is trusted, but because identity, device and access are right. That is Zero Trust in one name, and the reason the internet can simply be the network.
The name also carries our conviction: security should be the reason something can happen, not the reason it can't. You see that in how we work. We don't sell fear. We name sharply what's wrong and then fix it ourselves.
